Interior with Open Windows, Raoul Dufy, 1928
I have always loved the brilliance of this piece as well as much of Dufy's work. The warmth and at the same time the cooling effects the painting has on me are remarkable! I want to be where ever that scene is, somewhere off the coast of France with an ocean view off the balcony. It makes a person sigh in longing. Someday, maybe.
